Recently, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economic and Information Technology, in conjunction with the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, formulated and issued the Work Plan for the Coordinated Development of the Aluminum Industry Chain in Sichuan and Chongqing, proposing that by 2025, the output value of the aluminum industry in Sichuan and Chongqing would reach 400 billion yuan (58.96 billion US dollars), cultivate a number of leading enterprises and specialized new enterprises with global influence, establish an aluminum industry cluster with international competitiveness, and build the strongest high-end aluminum material manufacturing base in China.
