BYD's new energy vehicle parts project of RMB10 billion breaks ground

A ceremony was held on February 18th in Changzhou National High-Tech Zone to celebrate concentrated signing and building of major projects in 2023 as well as the ground-breaking of BYD New Energy Vehicle Key Parts Industrial Park Project. The construction of 35 projects in this zone was launched this time with a total investment of RMB28.1 billion (USD4.09 billion), including 13 new energy vehicle and vehicle key parts projects, 4 smart energy projects and 4 new material projects.
Located in Binjiang Economic Development Zone, BYD New Energy Vehicle Key Parts Industrial Park Project has a total investment of about RMB10 billion (USD1.46 billion) and could produce 300,000 sets of smart powertrain, transmission system and other key parts per year after the construction is completed.
