Considering that the prices of antimony ingot remain steady and most suppliers intend to keep prices firm, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese antimony trioxide 99.8%min would stand unchanged within this week.
A trader in South China stated, " Now we quoted about RMB72,500/t (USD10,540/t) delivered D/A 30 days for antimony trioxide 99.8%min and could possibly accept to sell at RMB72,000/t (USD10,467/t) for firm bids, while most consumers show strong wait-and-see attitudes this week and prefer to purchase no more than 10t. We just sold about 10t at RMB72,000/t (USD10,467/t) early this week". The trader added that the most competitive price of antimony ingot 99.85%min they received this week stood firm at RMB81,000/t (USD11,775/t) EXW D/P and some suppliers even stuck to prices at RMB82,000/t (USD11,921/t) due to tight supply. Given the tight supply and firm prices of raw materials, the trader predicts that the mainstream prices of Chinese antimony trioxide 99.8%min would keep stable within the week.
With a typical monthly trading volume of 200t of antimony trioxide 99.8%min, the trader expects to sell around 150t this month and sold about 100t last month. They totally sold about 2,000t of the material in 2022. The trader holds about 200t of stocks now, unchanged from last month.
