Yiyang Guohui increases antimony trioxide production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Apr 23 - Hunan Yiyang Guohui Antimony Co., Ltd. increases its monthly output of antimony trioxide 99.8%min by about 50% from last year to 200-300t this year, a source from the company told Asian Metal.
The source said, "Our monthly output of antimony trioxide increased to 200-300t since this March, while that hovered at around 100t last year." The source added that their sales increased as a result of the expansion of downstream customer channels. They mainly purchase antimony ingot to produce antimony trioxide 99.8%min.
With an annual production capacity of 4,000t of antimony trioxide 99.8%min, the company owns two antimony white furnaces and only operates one at present. The current daily output stands at around 15t, and the production might reach 200t in April. They hold no spot stock now, the same as last month.
At present, mainstream prices for antimony trioxide 99.8%min in Hunan stay at RMB71,500-72,500/t (USD10,396-10,542/t) delivered T/T 30 days, unchanged from late last week. In view of the strong intention of antimony ingot suppliers to firm the price and the limited supply of raw material in the spot market, insiders reckon that prices for Chinese antimony trioxide 99.8%min would keep firm in the coming week.
