The secondary aluminum project with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons (200,000t for the first phase) of Mindal Aluminum is an important project in Zhongning County for aluminum and aluminum processing chain extension, replenishment, and strengthening. At present, the first and second lines of the project have been put into operation.
With a total investment of 519 million yuan (75.46 million US dollars), the project mainly builds three casting and rolling production lines, one aluminum alloy ingot production line and one aluminum alloy large sheet ingot and round bar production line. After going into operation, the project will generate sales revenue of 4 billion yuan (582 million US dollars), profit of 140 million yuan (20.36 million US dollars) and tax of 120 million yuan (17.45 million US dollars) annually.
