Cast'Al 800K-unit NEV light-weight parts project to be built in Chongqing

On May 18, Chongqing Wansheng Economic Development Zone signed two project contracts, one of which is Cast'Al 800,000-unit NEV light-weight parts project.
Invested by Changzhou Cast'Al Precision Casting Technology Co., Ltd., the project will be located in Chongqing Wansheng Economic Development Zone and be composed of two phases. By the end of 2025 the project will have an annual production capacity of 400,000 auto subframe units and 400,000 battery shell units; and when the project is completely built, it is expected to achieve an annual production value of around RMB2 billion (USD284 million) and contribute annual taxation of around RMB100 million (USD14.18 million).
