Guoxing Lithium's 10,000tpy battery grade lithium carbonate project breaks ground

A ceremony was held on June 2nd in the industrial park zone in Fenyi, Xinyu, Jiangxi for Xinyu Guoxing Lithium Co., Ltd. to launch the construction of its 10,000tpy battery grade lithium carbonate project.
With a total investment of RMB1.2 billion (USD168.74 million) and a construction period of 12 months, the project covers an area of about 60,000 square meters. It will build a battery grade lithium carbonate comprehensive production line of 10,000tpy and the production line will use lithium ore as raw material. After realizing the designed production capacity, the project could meet demand of lithium salt used for the manufacturing of 200,000 new energy vehicles and supply 200 jobs with expected sales revenues and taxes of RMB5 billion (USD703.27 million) and RMB300 million (USD42.20 million) respectively.
