Qinghai Salt Lake breaks ground on 40ktpa lithium salt project

On June 6, Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. broke ground on its lithium salt project in Qarhan Salt Lake with a production capacity of 40,000tpa, including 20,000tpa of battery grade lithium carbonate and 20,000tpa of lithium chloride. Total investment for the project is around RMB7.1 billion (USD998 million).
