Xinjiang Yuanxinyi submits EIA of Kokdala waste resources recycling project for approval

On August 9, Xinjiang Yuanxinyi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of its Kokdala waste resources recycling project for approval.
With total investment estimated at RMB589 million (USD81.68 million), the project will be built inside the Kokdala Economic and Technological Development Zone in Xinjiang.
According to the EIA, the project uses industrial wastes as the raw materials with a total processing capacity of 300,000tpa. When completed, the project will mainly recycle copper, lead, antimony, aluminum and other metals. The project's designed annual production capacities include 6,500t of crude lead, 300t of refined bismuth, 37,500t of crude copper, 2,000t of antimony trioxide, 5,000t of zinc oxide, 10t of tellurium metal, 41t of selenium residue, and 100t of aluminum powder.
