Henan Shenhuo reports H1 primary aluminum production and sales

Henan Shenhuo Coal and Power Co., Ltd. achieved an operating revenue of RMB19.11 billion (RMB2.62 billion) in the first half of 2023, down by 11.72% from the year-ago period, according to the company's semi-annual report.
As of June 30, the company had annual production capacities of 1.7 million tonnes of primary aluminum (800,000t in Xinjiang and 900,000t in Yunnan), 560,000t of prebaked anode and 80,000t of aluminum foil.
From January to June, the company produced 726,800t of primary aluminum (410,400t in Xinjiang and 316,400t in Yunnan), and sold 732,300t of primary aluminum (417,100t in Xinjiang and 315,200t in Yunnan), completing 43.78% and 44.12% respectively of the annual guidance.
During the period, the company's aluminum foil production recorded 42,000t (27,700t in Shangqiu and 14,300t in Shanghai) and sales reached 38,500t (25,500t in Shangqiu and 13,000t in Shanghai), completing 52.5% and 48.09% of the annual guidance respectively.
The company also produced 242,800t of prebaked anode (70,900t in Yongcheng and 171,900t in Xinjiang) and sold 249,600t (66,800t in Yongcheng and 182,800t in Xinjiang) during the first half of this year, completing 44.55% and 45.80% of the annual target respectively.
