Chalco Q1-Q3 alumina sales up by 7.84% YoY

Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) produced 12.46 million tonnes of metallurgical grade alumina in the first nine months of 2023, down by 7.35% YoY, while metallurgical grade alumina sales during the period increased by 7.84% YoY to 5.01 million tonnes, according to the company's quarterly report.
In the first three quarters, Chalco produced 4.93 million tonnes and sold 4.94 million tonnes of primary aluminum (including alloy), down by 3.78% and 3.56% respectively from the year-ago period.
