On November 28, Jiangxi Copper Industry Group Yinshan Mining Industry Co., Ltd. kicked off the construction of its underground mine with a production capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day, marking the transition from open-pit to underground mining.
As a key project developed by Jiangxi Copper in Dezhou, the 5,000tpd underground copper mine is expected to help the company achieve a steady production capacity of 13,000tpd.
