Global refined tin market was in supply surplus of around 200 tonnes in October 2023 with production and consumption reaching approximately 31,400 tonnes and 31,100 tonnes respectively, and the global production and consumption of refined tin amounted to 28.89 million tonnes and 27.92 million tonnes respectively from January to October, with a supply surplus of 9,700 tonnes, according to the latest data from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Global tin mine production reached 27,400 tonnes in October and 254,000 tonnes in the first ten months.
