On December 19, a copper-magnesium-aluminum electronic and battery materials project with a production capacity of 250,000 tonnes per year kicked off construction in Xingren, China.
With a total investment of RMB1.01 billion (USD141 million), the project is expected to complete construction and become fully operational in 2026 and would achieve annual production value of more than RMB5 billion (USD700 million), along with tax revenue of at least RMB30 million (USD4 . 20 million), helping create over 400 jobs.
The project mainly involves the production and sale of high-precision aluminum-based materials, which are widely used in the fields such as new energy batteries, electronic substrate, decorative materials, automotive parts and aerospace equipment, etc.
