Yuande Aluminum breaks ground on secondary aluminum and casting project

On January 15, Yuande Aluminum (Teye Flange) secondary aluminum and casting project broke ground at Gangqiao Industrial Park in Chongqing Yongchuan High-Tech Zone.
The project, covering an area of 80Mu (5.33 hectare), mainly includes the re-utilization and recycling of national standard and non-standard aluminum alloy ingot, liquid and ash, with a total investment of RMB1 billion (USD139 million). When completed, it would achieve an annual production value of RMB2 billion (USD278 million) and help create nearly 300 jobs. The project is expected to become operational in August this year and the initial production capacity would reach 80,000 tonnes per annum.
