World's biggest rotary kiln for calcined dolomite put into operation

On January 18, Chaohu Yunhai Magnesium Co., Ltd. put into operation the world's biggest rotary kiln for calcined dolomite, the raw material for magnesium production.
With an investment of over RMB100 million (USD13.90 million), the rotary kiln has a diameter of 5.8 meters and a length of 80 meters and is able to produce 1,350 tonnes of calcined dolomite a day. As a key part of the company's 100,000tpa lightweight magnesium alloy project, it would ensure supply of raw material for the company to achieve large-scale development.
