CPS to acquire 73% stake in Sandun Lithium

Shenzhen Fluence Technology PLC (CPS) plans to buy a 73% stake in Jiangxi Sandun Lithium Co., Ltd. for RMB11 million (USD1.53 million) in cash.
Sandun Lithium operates its production base in China's Yichun city, famously known as the Lithium Capital of Asia, and is mainly engaged in R&D, production and sales of lithium carbonate, the raw material for lithium battery cathode material.
CPS said acquiring a majority in Sandun Lithium would further expand its presence in the cathode materials market and help it to accelerate layout in the NEV industry. Upon completion, Sandun Lithium will become a holding subsidiary of CPS.
