Projects that kicked off construction includes Hongteng Aluminum's 150,000tpa secondary aluminum project with an investment of RMB118 million (USD16.39 million) . The project has an annual production capacity of 100,000t of secondary aluminum bar and 50,000t of aluminum profiles and is expected to add annual operating revenue of RMB1 billion (USD139 million) along with tax revenue of RMB80 million (USD11 . 11 million).
Another aluminum related project broke ground that day is Hongyuan Metal's 50,000tpa aluminum ash recycling project. With an investment of RMB56 million (USD7 . 78 million), the project would process 50,000t of aluminum ash per annum and is expected to add annual operating revenue of RMB100 million (USD13 . 89 million) and generate tax revenue of RMB5 million (USD694,625) per year.
