Guixi Dasanyuan resumes bismuth ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 4 Mar 24 - One of major bismuth ingot 99.99%min producers in China, Guixi Dasanyuan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. resumed bismuth ingot 99.99%min production after the Spring Festival, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source said, "We halted the bismuth ingot 99.99%min production early this month for Spring Festival and resumed the production mid February". They produced around 190t in January and expected to produce 190t in March.
The producer, based on a production capacity of 7,200tpy of bismuth ingot 99.99%min, holds no stock now, unchanged MoM. They produced about 3,300t totally in 2022 and around 2000t in 2023.
The current mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min stand at RMB53,000-54,000/t (USD3.34-3.40/lb) EXW D/P, in line with early this week. Considering that suppliers had no intention to lower their prices, insiders believed that the mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would stay stable in the following week.
