Guangdong Dingsheng increases tin ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Mar 24 - A major tin ingot 99.95%min producer in Guangdong, Dingsheng Metal Co., Ltd., would increase the production of tin ingot to about 150t in March.
"We would probably produce about 150t of tin ingot this month, up by around 150t from last month," the source from the company revealed. They added that they suspended production since January 30th and resumed production on February 26th.
The producer, based on production capacity of 8,000tpy for tin ingot, purchased tin scrap from local market to produce tin ingot 99.95%min and sold to clients in local market. They produced about 2,360t of tin ingot in 2023 in total and around 150t so far this year, holding no stock now.
On Wednesday, the mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at RMB217,000-219,000/t (USD30,142-30,420/t) EXW 100% down in South China, unchanged from yesterday. As most downstream clients wait and see the market and the market supply keep sufficient, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot would edge down in the forthcoming days.
