Yunfan Non-ferrous increases tin ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Mar 24 - Yunfan Non-ferrous Metal Co., Ltd., one of major tin ingot 99.95%min producers in Yunnan, would increase the production to around 400t in March.
"After equipment maintenance, we resumed production since late last month and would probably produce about 400t in March, up by around 400t from last month," the source from the company disclosed. They have no plan to increase production next month.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 10,000t for tin ingot, purchases tin concentrate 40%min to produce tin ingot 99.95%min. They produced about 4,700t in total in 2023 and around 300t this year to date. They almost hold no inventory and around 400 metal tons of raw material now.
The current mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at RMB217,000-219,000/t (USD30,142-30,420/t) EXW 100% down in Yunnan, unchanged from yesterday. Discouraged by weak demand from terminal market, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot would edge down in the forthcoming days.
