BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Mar 24 - Permtsvetmet, JSC, (PTM), a major secondary aluminum alloys producer in Russia, plans to produce around 2,000t in April and around 1,500t in March, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We might produce 1,500t this month and the volume would reach around 2,000t next month," said the source, adding that they received more orders in March and hold no stock now.
Based on three melting furnaces and the production capacity of 50,000tpy, they produced around 23,000t in 2023 and over 3,000t so far this year.
Present mainstream prices for secondary aluminum alloy ingots ADC12 keep at USD2,300-2,400/t CIF China, up by USD50/t from late last week. Due to the increased aluminum scraps price, aluminum alloy producers raised prices.
