Lianchuang Aluminum resumes secondary aluminum alloy ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Mar 24 - Miluo Lianchuang Aluminum Technology Co., Ltd., one of major secondary aluminum alloy ingot producers in Central China, resumed production this week and expects to produce about 1,600t in March.
"Our company suspended production for the Spring Festival holiday on February 5, and focused on the consumption of inventory in early March after the holiday because of the sufficient stocks. We didn't resume secondary aluminum alloy ingot production until the middle of March. We might produce about 1,600t of aluminum alloy ingot in March," a source from the company said, adding that they only produced about 400t in February.
With an annual production capacity of 100,000t, the producer produced about 25,000t in 2023 and holds about 300t of stocks now.
On Thursday, mainstream prices for Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 stood at RMB19,500-19,700/t (USD2,713-2,741/t) delivered D/P, the same as the previous trading day. Insiders said that suppliers have strong intention to firm their prices at present due to the shortage of raw material aluminum scrap, so prices for Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would keep firm in the coming week.
