Huizhou Shuaiyichi to increase secondary aluminum alloy production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Mar 24 - Huizhou Shuaiyichi Aluminum Alloy New Material Co., Ltd., one of main secondary aluminum alloy producers in South China, expects to produce about 5,300t of aluminum alloy in March.
"Due to the Spring Festival holiday, our aluminum alloy production in February was only about 1,600t, entering March we resumed normal production, and the aluminum alloy output is expected to be about 5,300t in March", a source from the company said, adding that they mainly supply liquid aluminum directly to downstream customers.
With an annual production capacity of 100,000t, the company produced about 60,000t in 2023 and expects to produce around 11,000t in the first quarter of this year, holding about 400t of aluminum alloy ingot stocks for the moment.
On Tuesday, mainstream prices for Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 stood at RMB19,500-19,700/t (USD2,709-2,736/t) Delivered D/P, unchanged from last Friday. Insiders noted that considering the current supply shortage of raw material aluminum scrap, producers have a strong willingness to hold prices firm, and predict that prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would remain stable in the coming week.
