Jiangxi Copper reports 14% rise in annual copper cathode production

Jiangxi Copper achieved an annual operating revenue of RMB521.89 billion (USD72.23 billion) in 2023, up by 8.74% from 2022, according to the company's annual report.
In 2023, Jiangxi Copper produced 2,097,300 tonnes and sold 2,096,100 tonnes of copper cathode, up by 14.02% and 14.26% respectively from the prior year. The company's annual production of processed copper products increased by 2.86% YoY to 1,817,900 tonnes, and sales increased by 2.96% YoY to 1,819,700 tonnes. The company also produced 202,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate during the year, down by 1.17% versus 2022.
