Yunnan Copper's annual copper cathode production hits record high

Yunnan Copper achieved an operating revenue of RMB147 billion (USD20.34 billion) in 2023 when its annual production of copper cathode hit a new high of 1.38 million tonnes, up by 2.29% YoY, and the production of copper in concentrate also increased by 1.76% YoY to 63,700 tonnes, according to the company's annual report.
In 2023, Yunnan Copper newly found inferred resources containing 97,200 tonnes of copper, meeting its annual guidance. By the end of 2023, the company had copper resources of 978 million tonnes at 0.37% Cu, containing about 3.66 million tonnes of copper. Of which, the company's subsidiary Yunnan Diqing Non-Ferrous Metal Co., Ltd. held copper resources of 859 million tonnes at 0.33% Cu, containing about 2.84 million tonnes of copper.
