BEIJING (Asian Metal) 1 Apr 24 - CMR Green Technologies, a major secondary aluminum alloys producer in India, produced around 20,000t in March, up by around 10% MoM, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We produced around 20,000t in March and around 18,000t in February," said the source, adding that the demand improved in the Indian domestic market, so they increased production and hold around 700t in stock now.
With the annual production capacity of 360,000t, they produced around 56,000t so far this year and around 190,000t in 2023, targeting around 300,000t in 2024.
Present mainstream prices for secondary aluminum alloy ingots ADC12 in India keep at USD2,550-2,600/t delivered, up by USD50/t from one week ago. For the improving demand and increased aluminum scrap price, producers remain confident in the price.
