Taihe Dahua to build a new tin ingot smelter

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Apr 24 - Taihe Dahua Energy Technology Co., ltd., a major secondary lead ingot 99.994%min producer in Anhui, would build a new tin ingot smelter in the end of April.
"After nearly nine months of preparation, we would complete the completion of the new tin ingot smelter by the end of this month," the producer from the company disclosed. They added that they would introduce equipments next month and start production in September this year.
The producer, based on an annual design production capacity of 2,500t for tin ingot, holding no inventory now. They aimed to produce about 2,000t a year. They produce about 15-20 metal tons of tin particle monthly.
On Tuesday, the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot 99.95%min stand at RMB225,000-227,000/t (USD31,095-31,372/t) EXW 100% down in East China, up by RMB1,000/t (USD138/t) from yesterday. Due to inactive purchases from downstream clients, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot 99.95%min would go down in the following days.
