BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Apr 24 - One of major tin ingot 99.95%min producers in the USA, K-technologies, Co., Ltd., would cut the production of tin ingot to around 15t in April.
"Dragged by few orders from our tin solder factory, we decided to cut the production of tin ingot to about 15t in April, down by 5t from last month," the source from the company disclosed, adding that they would probably produce around 15t next month.
The producer, based an annual production capacity of 500t for tin ingot, produced about 200t in 2023 and around 65t so far this year, holding no inventory now. They source tin scrap as raw materials to produce tin ingot 99.95%min.
On Tuesday, the mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at USD27,800-27,900/t EXW D/P 100% down in the USA, up by USD400/t from yesterday. Although the market demand went soft during the past week, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of American tin ingot would keep stable in the upcoming days due to tight supply.
