Xinxin Metal achieves full-capacity production of secondary aluminum alloy

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Apr 24 - Anhui Xinxin Metal Technology Co., Ltd., one of major secondary aluminum alloy ingot producers in East China, reaches full-capacity production at present with an output of around 4,000t in March.
"We suspended operation on February 2 for the Spring Festival holiday and resumed production on February 25, so we had an output of only around 500t that month. In March we resumed full-capacity production and produced about 4,000t in March, the highest output since our plant initiated production," a source from the company said, adding that now they have one set of furnaces in operation including one 50-ton top furnace and two 50-ton bottom furnaces.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 60,000t, produced around 29,500t in 2023 and holds no aluminum alloy ingot stocks now.
On Tuesday, mainstream prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 stood at RMB19,500-19,700/t (USD2,696-2,724/t) delivered D/P, unchanged from Monday. In view of soft market demand, insiders believe that prevailing prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would move down in the coming week.
