    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode

    In March, prebaked anode prices in China edged up supported by the increased pet coke and coal tar pitch prices and the purchase demand from Yunnan improved. Export prices climbed a bit as well.

    1.2 Pet coke

    Everage pet coke prices increased in March and the purchase demand recovered as well.

    1.3 Graphite electrode

    In March, graphite electrode prices in China slipped continuously due to the sluggish demand and producers maintained low operating rates.

    1.4 CPC

    CPC prices moved up on average in March, supported by the increased pet coke prices.

    1.5 Coal tar pitch

    Coal tar pitch prices in China jumped on overage in March dye to the increased coal tar prices and the demand remained firm.
