Suzhou Yadelin to complete maintenance on secondary aluminum alloy equipment

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 8 Apr 24 - Suzhou Yadelin Co., Ltd. a major producer of secondary aluminum alloy ingot in East China, will complete maintenance on its secondary aluminum alloy equipment in late April, expecting that its aluminum alloy ingot output would be 6,500t or so during the month.
"We took turns suspending production to make equipment maintenance starting from the Spring Festival holiday. We have completed maintenance for eight of all our ten smelting furnaces so far, expecting to complete the maintenance for the rest two smelting furnaces in late April. Our aluminum alloy ingot output was 7,200t or so in March and is expected to decline to around 6,500t in April," a source from the company said, adding that they have seven smelting furnaces in operation at the moment.
With an annual production capacity of 100,000t, the company produced about 82,000t in 2023, holding about 350t of aluminum alloy ingot stocks for the time being.
Mainstream prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 stood at RMB19,600-19,800/t (USD2,710-2,737/t) delivered D/P late last week, steady from the previous trading day. Insiders predict that prices of Chinese aluminum alloy ingot ADC12 would decline in the coming week as demand from downstream customers keeps sluggish at the moment.
