Chenzhou Xiongfeng resumes bismuth ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 Apr 24 - One of major bismuth ingot 99.99%min producers in China, Chenzhou Xiongfeng Environmental Protection Science and Technology Co. resumed bismuth ingot 99.99%min production since early March and produced around 120t last month, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source says, "We resumed the bismuth ingot 99.99%min production after we finished the overhaul early March". They estimate to produce around 120t in April and produced around 120t in March.
The producer, based on a production capacity of 2,000tpy of bismuth ingot 99.99%min, estimated to produce around 120t in April. They hold around 120t of stocks for selling now, in line with late last month. They produced 1,030t in 2023 and about 120t so far in 2024 .
Currently, Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min mainstream prices increase to RMB56,500-57,500/t (USD3.54-3.60/lb) EXW D/P, increased by RMB500/t (USD0.03/lb) from early last week. Given that suppliers have no intention to lower prices and the downstream hold cautious attitudes, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would remain steady in the following days.
