Yongxing Hongfu to resume bismuth ingot production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Apr 24 - Yongxing Hongfu Metal Co. one of major bismuth ingot 99.99%min producers in Chenzhou, China, expects to resume bismuth ingot 99.99%min production in June and estimated an output over 60t, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal.
The source said, "After we finished the production technology transformation, we plan to resume bismuth ingot 99.99%min production two months later, around in June", They have no output this month and expect to produce no less than 60t of bismuth ingot 99.99%min after the resumption.
The producer, based on a production capacity of 1200tpy of bismuth ingot 99.99%min, holds no stocks at present. They halted the production since July, 2023.
Currently, Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min mainstream prices hover at RMB56,500-57,500/t (USD3.54-3.60/lb) EXW D/P, in line with late last week. Given that most suppliers have no intention to lower prices supported by limited stocks while consumers stay in no hurry to place orders, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would remain stable in the upcoming days.
