China National Gold Inner Mongolia Mining to overall copper concentrate production line

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Apr 24 - China National Gold Inner Mongolia Mining CO., Ltd. plans to make regular maintenance on its production line in late April, expecting that its output of copper concentrate would go down by about 600 metal tons during the month.
"The maintenance is planned to start on April 28 and we might resume full production on May 1. Our monthly output could reach 6,000 metal tons at present," a source from the company said, adding that their copper concentrate contains 18-20% of copper, about 25% of sulfur and about 200g of silver.
With an annual production capacity of 80,000 metal tons, the company produced about 6,000 metal tons last month and 5,000 metal tons in the same period of last year, expecting to produce about 5,400 metal tons in April. It basically holds no stocks at the moment.
Mainstream prices of copper concentrate in the local market stand at RMB70,400-70,600/metal ton (USD9,729-9,756/metal ton) currently, rising by RMB3,100/metal ton (USD428/metal ton) from mid-March. Insiders predict that mainstream prices of the material would go up slightly in the following days.
