Ganzhou Ruide decreases tin chemicals production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 23 Apr 24 - Ganzhou Ruide Chemical Co., Ltd., one of major tin chemicals producers in Jiangxi, would cut the output to around 8t in April.
"Due to sluggish deals, we would decrease tin chemicals production to about 8t this month, down by around 2t from last month," said the source, adding that they would probably produce about 8t next month.
With an annual production capacity of 500t, the company purchases tin ingot 99.95%min from local smelter to produce tin oxide and tin sulfate etc. They produced around 120t of tin chemicals in 2023 and around 20t in Q1 this year, holding no inventory now.
On Monday, the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot 99.95%min stand at RMB281,000-283,000/t (USD38,810-39,087/t) EXW 100% down, up by RMB17,000/t (USD2,348/t) from last Friday. Although the downstream market sees inactive purchases, most insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot would go up in the following days.
