BEIJING (Asian Metal) 30 Apr 24 - Belgium Metal Aurum Co., Ltd., a small-sized tin ingot 99.95%min producer in Europe, decreased the production of tin ingot to about 30t in April.
"As most downstream clients purchased inactively, we decided to decrease the production of tin ingot to about 30t this month, down by about 10t from last month," the source from the company reported. They would probably produce around 30t next month.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 500t for tin ingot, purchases tin concentrate 65%min from Africa to produce tin ingot 99.95%min. They produced about 350t of tin ingot in 2023 and nearly 100t this year to date, holding no inventory currently.
On Monday, the mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at USD32,500-32,600/t EXW D/P in Europe, up by nearly USD400/t from last Friday. Discouraged by dim market, most suppliers hold negative views to the market and insiders predict that the mainstream prices of European tin ingot would edge down in the forthcoming days.
