On May 7, Linan Xingda Cable Materials Factory signed an agreement with the government of Longlin, an autonomous county in China's Guangxi Province, to develop an aluminum-magnesium alloy wire project with production capacity of 5,000 tones per annum.
Linan Xingda Cable Materials Factory is a private entity focusing on the production and sales of aluminum-magnesium alloy wire. The company plans to invest RMB150 million (USD20.76 million) to build the 5,000tpa Al-Mg alloy project, which is expected to further expand the aluminum-magnesium alloy industry in Longlin.
