Zijin Mining announces production guidance for next five years

Zijin Mining has provided a five-year production guidance for its major mineral products, aiming to meet initial targets in 2028, two years ahead of its original schedule.
According to the latest guidance, the company expects to produce 1.5-1 . 6 million tonnes of mined copper in 2028, up by at least 49% from 2023, and the annual production mined zinc and lead would increase by 17% to 550,000-600,000 tonnes, with the output of lithium carbonate equivalent and mined molybdenum rising by 82 times and 2 . 1 times respectively to 250,000-300,000 tonnes and 25,000-35,000 tonnes, all compared with 2023.
If the new guidance were reached on schedule, Zijin Mining would become one of the top three copper producers and one of the leading lithium companies in the world.
