LB Group's titanium dioxide output and sales rise in H1

In the first half of 2024, LB Group produced 649,600 tonnes of titanium dioxide, an increase of 9.7% versus the prior year period, including 453,700 tonnes from sulfuric acid process, up by 16.31% YoY, and 195,900 tonnes from chlorination process, down by 3.07% YoY. The company sold a total of 599,600 tonnes of titanium dioxide in H1 2024, 3.7% higher than H1 2023, including 418,600 tonnes from sulfuric acid process, up by 6.23% YoY, and 181,000 tonnes from chlorination process, down by 1.71% YoY. The company's domestic sales accounted for 41.39% of the total, with the share of overseas sales rising to 58.61%.
LB Group's H1 production of titanium sponge increased by 29.12% YoY to 33,100 tonnes, with sales jumping by 60.32% YoY to 30,800 tonnes.
During the first half, the company also produced 1,548,200 tonnes of iron concentrate, 1,045,600 tonnes of titanium concentrate (100% for self consumption), and 27,900 tonnes of iron phosphate, and the H1 sales included 1,548,600 tonnes of iron concentrate and 20,200 tonnes of iron phosphate.
