On November 2, Wynca Group commissioned its 150,000tpa silicon metal production line project located at Yanjin Industrial Park in Zhaotong, Yunnan.
Taking advantage of the rich silica resources, abundant hydro-energy and convenient transportation in Zhaotong, the project will be able to produce 150,000 tonnes of silicon metal annually with production value expected to reach RMB3 billion (USD419 million), and it would help create more than 500 local jobs.
