Large fluorspar mine project begins construction in Ganzhou

On November 20, Yudu Huashuo Mining Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for a 390,000tpa fluorspar mine project in Ganzhou, Jiangxi.
In terms of reserves, Aonao fluorspar mine owned by Huashuo Mining is so far the largest fluorspar mine with mining licence in Jiangxi province and the seventh biggest fluorspar mine in China.
With a total investment of around RMB530 million (USD73.13 million), the project would take two years to complete construction and come on stream. When fully operational, it is expected to achieve an annual production value of more than RMB600 billion (USD82.79 million) and profit of over RMB200 million (USD27.6 million), along with tax contribution of more than RMB100 million (USD13.8 million), and it would help create around 260 jobs.
