China's alumina production up 8.3% YoY in Nov

In November 2024, China produced about 7.56 million tonnes of alumina, up by 8.3% YoY, 3.71 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 3.6% YoY, 1.45 million tonnes of aluminum alloy, up by 9.6% YoY, and 5.93 million tonnes of aluminum products, up by 2.2% YoY, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to November, China's alumina output totaled 78.09 million tonnes, up by 3.4% YoY, primary aluminum production reached 40.22 million tonnes, up by 4.6% YoY, aluminum alloy output increased by 8.7% YoY to 14.56 million tonnes, and aluminum products output increased by 7.8% YoY to 61.9 million tonnes.
