On January 6, Shaanxi Yulin Magnesium Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (SYMIC) signed an agreement with Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC) on the research and development of ultra-high energy absorption self-foaming porous magnesium alloy.
On the same day, the company reached an agreement with Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) on the preparation of magnesium metal by vacuum carbothermal reduction method.
