Xinjiang TBEA Loulan New Energy Materials to build 100ktpa silicon metal project

Xinjiang TBEA Loulan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. plans to build a 100,000tpa industrial silicon project in Ruoqiang county, according to the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang.
Xinjiang TBEA Loulan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Altay Fuzhong Technology Development Co., Ltd. are both wholly owned by Xinjiang Tianchi Energy Co., Ltd. After Altay Fuzhong called off its 100,000tpa silicon metal project, Loulan New Materials proposed to build a 100,000tpa silicon metal project in Ruoqiang, and the construction mainly includes eight 33000KVA submerged arc furnace for high-purity silicon metal and other associated facilities.
The project will provide raw material for Xinte Energy's 100,000tpa polysilicon project located at Ganquanbao Industrial Park in Urumqi.
