Canmax signs deal to develop lithium resources in Nigeria

Canmax Technologies Co., Ltd. has reached an agreement with the government of Kebbi State and Three Crown Mines Limited to jointly invest in and develop lithium mining claims in Kebbi State, which ranks among the most lithium-rich regions in Nigeria.
Under the agreement, Canmax and Three Crown (or its shareholders) will set up a 85/15 joint venture, which will build and operate a modern plant for the mining and dressing of lithium ore and the processing of tailings. Within the project life cycle, Canmax will sell all of the production from the joint venture. Canmax expects to invest more than USD2 million in Kebbi State.
