Guizhou CNGR breaks grounds on 20ktpa refined nickel project

On February 6, construction kicked off for a 20,000 refined nickel project at Dalong Development Zone in Tongren City.
The project is developed by Guizhou CNGR Resource Recycling Industry Development Co., Ltd. With a total investment of RMB315 million (USD43.22 million), the project adopts the company's self-developed wet processing technique to produce nickel cathode, using high-grade nickel matte as the raw material.
Construction mainly includes a nickel refinery, warehouse and associated facilities. When operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of RMB2 billion (USD274 million) along with tax contribution of over RMB100 million (USD13.72 million), and would create more than 100 jobs.
