Jinquan New Materials receives approval for rare earth metal expansion project

Inner Mongolia Jinquan New Materials Co., Ltd. has received the initial approval from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to build a 3,000tpa rare earth metals expansion project at Urad Front Banner Industrial Park, with production capacity including 200tpa of PrNd mischmetal, 400tpa of cerium metal, 400tpa of lanthanum metal, and 2,000tpa of LaCe mischmetal.
The project, with a total planned investment of RMB30 million (USD4.12 million), is expected to take six months to complete construction.
