Blue Elephant launches permanent magnet motor project

On February 13, Blue Elephant Direct Drive Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. kicked off the construction of its permanent magnet motors project with an annual production capacity of more than 100,000 units.
The project, with a total investment of 200 million yuan (27.56 million US dollars) will build new production lines for linear motors, DDR motors, new energy start motors, and other types of permanent magnet motors, along with the necessary supporting facilities.
The project features the innovative "square line process," which breaks through foreign technical barriers. This technological advancement effectively enhances energy efficiency, reduces costs, and improves overall performance of permanent magnet motors. Notably, the new motors offer a more than 20% improvement in both thermal conductivity and electrical performance.
Established in July 2024, Lanxiang Direct Drive Technology (Baotou) Co., Ltd. draws on the technical expertise of Hunan Yinzhuoen Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to focus on the development and production of rare earth permanent magnet motors across multiple categories. The project is expected to become fully operational by June 2025, when it will begin supplying internationally renowned companies such as Samsung.
