Construction kicks off on 100ktpa stainless steel strip project in Fujian

On March 3, Fujian Ningde Daohe New Material Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its 100,000tpa stainless steel precision strip project.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan (68.81 US dollars), the project is equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities and mainly produces 200 series, 300 series, high-temperature, nickel-based alloy precision steel strip, which are widely used for industries such as new energy battery, photovoltaic power, NEV, aerospace equipment, shipbuilding, and mechanical engineering.
Upon completion and put into operation, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan (275 million US dollars), along with annual tax revenue of approximately 40 million yuan (5.51 million US dollars). Additionally, it would help create 200 job opportunities.
The project's implementation is expected to fill the gap in the stainless steel precision strip sector within the Fuan Wanwu Peninsula Stainless Steel Industry Base. It will further enhance the industrial chain, bolster the region's stainless steel manufacturing capabilities, and significantly improve the overall competitiveness of the industry base.
